Mal Williams is executive director of Zero Waste Wales. He has advised the Welsh government which itself adopted a zero waste strategy in 2010. With extensive knowledge of current waste management systems he gave this reflection on why Derry City and Region should adopt a Zero Waste Strategy. He was speaking after Zero Waste North West's Public Meeting in St Columb's Park House on 22nd November 2013 on why we need to play our part in driving change and moving towards a circular economy with “Zero Waste”.
