I combined multiple approaches to achieve a basic walk cycle.
I began with an Inverse Kinematics script for After Effects developed by Nicolas Dufresne a.k.a DuDu.
I keyframed my rig over live-action reference footage. Finally I used strokes to animate the arms and legs. This is just the beginning of an in-depth character animation study.
