The bats of the French quarter treme area own this little town. I love being able to see the vamps flying around. From the eirly dark corners of Treme to the time warped streets of the View Carre . These cratures of the night have stolen many good souls for there kind. I was able to first see the bats. but it took some rare NJ hunting skills to infiltrate their dwellings. The closer I came to them the more upset and madder they became. right after this film shot a bat flew into the back of my head. Thank god I had on my lucky cowboy hat and garlic to stop the beast from taking me down. Doors slammed as I entered this 1800's building now condemned by the city under blight laws. Skulls and bones filled the floors. Using some special potions that I was given by a close Haitian voodoo practitioner friend of mine I was able to walk in the shadows without being seen by a bats radar. I have more film but must show it first to a professor friend of mine at LSU. Bats are very dangerous to humans and I don't think I was bite.
