This is a speedy (some would say manic, but filming gigs and festivals usually is) compilation of some of the best bits from a wide range of videos I created, documenting Nottingham gigs, events and community activity. Featured here is Nottingham Pagan Pride, Ecoworks, I'm Not From London, Save Sherwood Forest, Apsara, Bright in the Corner, the Lion in Basford and a host of artists, performers and musicians too numerous to mention. There are also a couple of quaint bits from my animation and experimental video creations. The running text explains a lot of what I do, but below is some added information.

I've been working hard for many years to capture local events and promote artists as well as my video and editing skills. You'll find much of my work on another well-known video hosting channel, but my stuff will never compete with silly cats or laughing babies. All videos were filmed, edited and titled by me, with the permission (and I may say, their approval) of all the local artists involved.

Having been involved with community filmmaking in for 10 years (before that I was in film magazine publishing and worked for a video company), it's about time that my work was recognised and I saw more collaboration with serious artists, so please do contact me and enjoy the quick shots of my work from the last decade.

Thanks to local musician Dave 'Hojo' Atkins for supplying me with a stream of unusual music. You can check out his work at Music and Masks. You can also check out work I did with a Urbexing friend, Richard Gosling, on Vimeo at Liminal Perspectives.
