I like your alarm clock transitions to the guy sleeping. Did you use an effect or just pan quickly with a dissolve?

Is it worth going with the Z7 or should or can I get the same picture quality with the fx1? By the way cool video and also what kind of lenses give it that cinema look and where do you get them and do you have any idea what they cost?

well i havent used the z7, (just shot some 16mm though) i believe the z7 uses CMOS chips rather than CCD, so there are pros and cons there, and also the lens is detachable, so you can put a better lens on it than the fx1, if you have the money.

but its all about how you use such things isnt it, you can give a 35mm camera to someone and it can look liek crap but give a dv camera to another person and he'll make soemthing interesting.

i used the redrock micro m2, with nikon lenses, but not for the short which i shot with the fx1. that was just the stock lens (i didnt own the m2/lenses then)

oh sorry, i bought most from ebay, some from second hand camera shops, ebay is cheaper, i did have to send one back though, as it was no good for using with a hd camera (there were scratches on the lenses which the seller didnt mention) but i got my money back. and they were all (as in each) around £50-90
