This was the fourth major flagship event planned to explore the themes highlighted for the first ever GPEDC High Level Meeting in Mexico City in April 2014. Global Partnership Co-Chair and UK Secretary of State for International Development Justine Greening joined business and development leaders at the 2014 Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos to discuss how to "Break Silos in Development" - and find ways in which business can work better together with governments and others to end poverty.

The discussion was moderated by John Mcarthur, WEF Young Global Leader and Senior Fellow at the United Nations Foundation.
