For the second annual Seawheeze half marathon, Thinkingbox collaborated with Visa, Lululemon and M Marketing to create a large-scale video wall to display personal motivational mantras created by participants of the race.

Through iOS development and Objective-C, we produced a simple 4-step iPad app that participants would use to take a picture of themselves, type out a mantra and share with friends via email. Upon completion, the mantra would be uploaded to a rapid moderation server with illicit material and profanity filtration and then displayed on the 18' 1080p video wall for spectators to experience. As an increasing number of mantras were submitted, the screen was populated with a colourful matrix that would transition through custom animations.

Over the course of the pre-race day festivities of tasty giveaways, free concerts and salon services, countless individuals participated resulting in over 700 unique and inspiring mantras promoting the healthy lifestyle synonymous with the Lululemon brand.
