Have you ever taken a hard right turn onto cleveland street on a monday, wednesday or friday, somewhere between 8-930 pm, and come deathly close to running down a group of people who are performing strange movements and exercises in the street? this is why. Shot from the safety of my front yard, this is a quick glimpse of what and why this group of individuals do what they do. They are people you walk by everyday in the streets, from a personal chef & hair stylists to an e-commerce mortgage auditor and warehouse clerk for a major clothing company, they are dedicated, driven people, who strive for personal excellence in everything they do. They have found a common ground in the group, creating a bond that normally would not have happened. I, Logan Pierce, am co-founder of the little group, which started out with 3 people, including myself and wife, and has grown to a size of 14 attendees at its high point. I am also a full time student, and have been in the media arts field for 13 years. This video was created for a midterm project in one of my classes. It was meant to be a quick moto video to inspire or make those who dont workout feel poorly (i know i know, bad human), but it ended up uncovering a common theme amongst the members, which was drive, inspiration, dedication, and a deep bond of friendship. thanks to all the cleveland st crew for agreeing to the video. music credit: "sometimes you're the hammer, sometimes you're the nail" by A Day To Remember, ©2013 ADTR records
