Daylight Robinry
On April 6, 2008, it snowed. This was somewhat unexpected for Slough. It confused our garden cohort no end.
In fact, the Robin from next door (who is young and inexperienced) saw this as a sign of doom and chose theft over starvation, much to the chagrin of our Robin.
It was all gentlemanly, the young turk didn't steal that much cheese, and a couple of hours later, the garden was spring-like again.
Please note that Robins, whilst looking cute, are actually rather aggressive, territorial and loud when roused. I think we should ditch the bulldog as our national animal and replace it with the Robin.
Filmed from the comfort of the dining room on my PMW-EX1 using the S&Q 720p60 mode. Many shots rendered useless by son jumping up and down with the demand to make snowballs to throw at birds. The vibration of my application of LARTs to son wobbled tripod too much and lead to CMOS distortion.

We watched the two have a little dinner date this morning (he was feeding her bits of stale tea cake) and they are now an item.
If I hadn't woken at 1pm today, I would have captured our lovely weather too.
