Stone Soup

Unique retelling of the "Stone Soup," using simple animation. This adaptation was written and narrated by Carl Sommer. All graphics are from his 32 page children's book distributed by Advance Publishing and posted here with permission. This video was produced by me, under the name Unrendered Ideas, for for Advanced Publishing's DVD read-along. Starting with the print ready artwork and a supplied soundtrack, I cut the images into layers, repainted missing or hidden features, and offset them in 3D space creating a compelling video from flat images. This technique provides an animated experience without changing the text, a requirement for a read-along children's book.
