We explored the Long Canyon trail. Everyone faired well-despite the dramatics (as you'll see). The hills are green and fresh and we plan to return again.

How beautiful. I love the shot showing the long trail down below. Nice editing on the scenes of your family walking towards the camera. What a great day.
I had no idea this area looked so good. Nice music choice as well. You sure a putting the HV to good use.

Nice video, but it has jaggies (interlacing). Try exporting in de-interlaced, progressive way to get a better output.

Love your editing skills. You make it look so easy. The part I especially like is the at 1:08 where you and family were walking pass the camera and your son looked at the camera at 1:15. Kool!

Thanks, Ivan. I appreciate the support-I am still learning and of course, there's tons more to learn But I try to roll smoothly in-between scenes.

LOL "the boy looks in the lens", if you could see all the set up prepping I do--"okay, wait, turn, go, now....don't look walk right by...." and then he looks right into the lens. Can't beat that. What do they say...Priceless.

nice job, i like how you fade out at 1:25 is that a hard effect to do?

The effect was done in post. Maybe there are other ways to do it, but I take a still capture of the road with no one on it. Then I transisitioned into the still capture (overlap or cross disolve in iMovie). The walking subjects transition into thin air OR the other way around, as you see in the begining of the video, they appear on the empty road. I must say that I was happy with how that came out.
Problem is now I want to use that effect for everything..funerals, weddings... :) joking.

This was a very enjoyable journey. That young sea-faring lad was a long way from the ocean, though ;-)

The soundtrack was also wonderful. Well done. Bravo!

Thank you Arnold, 'journey' is a good word for this vid'...that's the feel I was trying for-thank you so much.. the sea-faring lad brings the coast with him!

    Awesome!
Somehow, I knew the Pirate would run out of gas.
    Too funny!

The zoom at 00:35 and interlacing artifacts were kind of distracting, but all-in-all really great!
