My first day and test with a Canon HV20. A rental one (thanks to Jakob).

It was an indoor test, no tripod, no lens, no filter, no color correction, Just playing with white balance/low light.

    I wish I had your steady hand- that alone is impressive but you really captured nice color - your settings were spot on. A must as reference (you actually make green quite nice).

    @Maria
    Steady hand = the HV20 touched the window :-) and I stabilized the cam with my hand.

    I can't believe I watched the whole thing!

    When I read LOCUSTS I thought "oh great... another lame macro photography clip!"

    But you caught me from the first shot :)

    Wonderful framing and excellent focus. The music is wonderful to and matched the mood of the clip. The colours are nice.

    You just should've de-interlaced it before exporting :)

    Now go ahead... get yourself an HV20 :)

    Did you use a DOF adapter? Or is this all in camera optics?

    What setting did you film in, 24p? When you do manual focus like this, if you zoom out does it go back to auto focus?

    I'm VERY interested in getting this camera but I need to know just a few more things!

    What the heck is Canopus Procoder? How much and did you record this in 720p? I didn't know it could do that...
