The Wellness Community "Facing Cancer Together" RT:9:25

There is no more humbling role than to be asked to produce a video documenting those who face serious illness head on.

The Wellness Community in Newton Falls, MA was dedicated to providing free support for those struggling with Cancer. It was a truly remarkable institution where small miracles happened every day.

The footage for this documentary was acquired in just four shooting days. We tried our best to be a sensitive as we could as we shot, so as to honor this sacred space.

I wrote, shot and edited this video. The scenes were shot back in the last days of standard video with my JVC GY-DV-300U Streamcorder, a remarkable camera for it's time. The music was composed by Bert Seager, and used with his written permission.
