    It is just incredibly beautiful
  •
  • Beautiful! I want a Cineflex.
  • I just noticed that the lens flares seem to wiggle alot. Any ideas on why that's the case? Is the stabilization only on the camera, and the flares are coming from the unstabilized housing?
  • Tom Lowe pro 2 years ago
    I saw that too.
  • Chris Mierzwinski plus 2 years ago
I wondered about the flares as well. I thought that maybe further digital stabilizing was done in post on top of of gyro.
  • I thought that too...

    Absolutely. Beautiful.

These are some of the most gorgeous helo shots I have ever seen. What camera?
  • JK 2 years ago
From what I understood cineflex is an aerial gyro platform, which includes the Sony CineAlta HDC-1500. 1080p duallink 444.
  • NCFX plus 2 years ago
yeah, that's a really cool camera.
  • Fuglefjellet plus 1 year ago
Hi Tom, thanks a lot for the comment. I have seen your time-laps work. Talk about cool stuff. Love your works. Maybe we can do time-laps work together in our Norwegian fjords and mountains. I supply helicopter and Cineflex, welcome :-)

Such excellent aerial shots. Has this footage been licensed for feature films?
  • Fuglefjellet plus 1 year ago
Hi, Thanks, this shots are not license to anyone. But it is only 4:2:2, we are waiting for our 4:4:4 recorder. Than we can match it to 35mm

  • Fuglefjellet plus 1 year ago

Norway is so beautiful. You get sick, when you are there, and the only cure is to get back now and then, best very often. Your film was almost a cure to my Norway-sickness! Fantastic pictures and great colours and compositions.

I couldn't agree more and that's exactly what I was trying to say. This environment couldn't be less than rewarding in this case. I absolutely love it. Mountains are too magical to explain in words. When you present them like this then suddenly everything starts to make sense.
  • Fuglefjellet plus 1 year ago
When you fly in this type of environment, you suddenly understand why they write poems :-) sometimes I just stop filming, looking out the heli and my mind start to absorb the impact this type of view has on a human brain... it is powerful.

Just gorgeous. And yeah, the lens flare has to be from the vibrating housing. I'm guessing they take apart the $90,000 Sony Camera, and custom build the internals with both physical, optical, and processing shock removal.
  • Fuglefjellet plus 1 year ago
The system is a Cineflex V14 HD, Sony 1500 camera

  • erlendaa 1 year ago
Ah det var det jeg mente! Gikk på folkehøgskolen der for 10 år siden, bildene bringer tilbake gode minner om skitur til Saudahornet og nesten daglige turer til Nivanne som skimtes i bakgrunnen.
