looks great Dan. I like the contrast between the real world to the alternate on blues vs the golds/yellows.
  • Dan Gaud 2 years ago
Thanks a lot! The film grain too is different for each world! :)

Really nice film. The music is great and the sound desing is awsome. I found some of the slow mo's are long and are not really helping the story, but are only a pretext to make the film looks kool.

The guy on xsibase is right. Your hero should have arm himself with 2 baseball bats instead of his stick. :)

    Keep on the great work!
  • Dan Gaud 2 years ago
Ja Merci man! Oh well, live and learn! :P

Nicely shot and edited and great special effects. Nice job! With the use of VO, it has the look and feel of a trailer or teaser for a longer film. Do you have plans to expand it in that way?
  • Dan Gaud 2 years ago
Yes, exactly. Hopefully, someday I'll have some financial backing to make a feature out of this. Meanwhile, I have other ideas that I want to put on film!

    Thanks :)

Damn Dan, I loved it. The ending however was inconclusive. Is this a trailer?
  • Dan Gaud 2 years ago
I tried to make some sort of hybrid between a trailer and a linear film. So the ending is there to make the audience feel that this little snippet of story is only the beginning of the adventure!

    Hope that made sense. Thanks!

VERY well done! I was not expecting that kind of visual quality AT ALL when I started watching. The concept is solid, the storytelling is advanced, and the visuals were gorgeous. I'm exhausted just thinkin' about all the work you put into that.

  • Anthony Thompson 2 years ago
Great work. Take this story, expand it, make a feature and cut down on the VO. I found myself wishing you would just show me instead of having this guy talk to me, which begs for a feature length project.

    Fantastic VFX.
  • Dan Gaud 2 years ago
Oh yes! A feature length version would be pretty fun to make. And yes, no more VO! :)

    Thanks!

Thanks! It was a bit sketchy to figure out the whole camera by myself 3 hours prior to shooting but everything turned out fine. A lot of mistakes were made but hopefully nobody will notice. :)

  • Excellent work brother. Love the visuals. Hate to say it man, but you should remove "Rock That Shit" from ur profile. Leap is awesome and "Rock that shit" is just shit. Not trying to be an ass-just giving you my opinion.
