All things are comprised of light and dark, brightness and shadows, including people. Shadow Circus, an art exhibition by nationally known, Atlanta-based ceramist Kirsten Stingle and Pennsylvania-based encaustic artist Lorraine Glesnner, seeks to showcase more of the shadow side of our nature and bring it to the surface through deep explorations of human foibles and internal dialogue expressed in figurative works and encaustic paintings. The two artists are paired up in a current exhibition that opened September 28th at the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art in Marietta, GA and continues through December 15th. Long-time fine craft champion and Signature Contemporary Craft gallery owner Carr McCuiston, curated the exhibition which can also be viewed (and works purchased) online at thesignatureshop.com.
