Maggie in Wonderland is a tender portrait of Beatrice ‘Maggie’ Andersson, leading the viewer on a sometimes
sad, sometimes humorous, journey through Swedish everyday life. Maggie always co-ordinates high heels with a
beret and loves gold. She lives on the 15th floor in one of the suburbs of Malmö. Her balcony is littered with
reminders of the life she has been living. Under a golf bag, next to a racing ticket from 1999, lie the remains of a
pigeon she killed one night when she couldn’t sleep.
