In October 2009, Katie, Coy and Connor sat with us to catch up on Connor's condition. Connor received umbilical cord blood transplants in July 2008. Connor stopped breathing moments after birth and was diagnosed with Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension. He developed jaundice soon after that and was later diagnosed with Congenital Panhypopituitarism, Optic Nerve Hypoplasia, Schizencephaly and Diabetes Insipidus.
Connor's parents cover the improvements they saw following the transplants and the quality of life improvements the therapy has yielded for Connor and his family.
