In this video press release, Assembly members Linda Stender (D-Union), Celeste M. Riley (D-Cumberland), Mila M. Jasey (D-Essex), Reed Gusciora (D-Mercer), and Patrick J. Diegnan, Jr. (D-Middlesex) hold a news conference in support of legislation that would modify New Jersey’s medical marijuana law to accommodate the needs of suffering children that the law currently neglects.
The bill (A-1374), sponsored by the members, would create a reciprocity rule that would allow patients in New Jersey’s medical marijuana program to legally obtain forms of marijuana not sold in the state from other states and jurisdictions with licensed medical marijuana programs. This reciprocity would allow sick patients access to the medical relief they need while the problems in New Jersey’s program are corrected.
