A British museum is holding an exhibition on Vikings.
The exhibition has been developed with the help of the National Museums of Denmark and Berlin. It focuses on the core period of the Viking Age from the late 8th century to the early 11th century. A 37-meter-long Viking warship is the crowning glory of the new expo, which hails the influence of the sea-faring Scandinavians. According to the Museum, it's the longest Viking ship ever discovered. Gold items such as a twisted neck-ring and ornate brooch with other precious metals were also put on display there. The exhibition ends on June the 22nd.
