How young we were!
A little Background:
We had to make a work of art that incorporated all of the stuff we'd been reading in class. Our original plan was to make a feature-length film. Failing that, we set out to make a 45-minute film. We had about 20 minutes of script. Failing that, we made these dainty skits in the week before the assignment was due.
The conceit in the first bit is that Thoreau claimed to be self-sufficient, but he actually had his sisters come every week to cook and clean his house. What a dick!
The second bit is pretty simple.
The third bit dares to ask, "Was Walt Whitman high?"
In the fourth bit, I originally ran by naked. I had to do a little in-camera editing because my exposed penis was in too many frames.
The fifth bit was from the script we had INTENDED to make. It was one of the only things we shot for it.
The sixth bit dares to ask, "Was Emily Dickinson goth?"

Aladdin 6 months agoHoo-doggy! That was a humdunger. How long did it take us to make that? Four months? -
DanielEdwardCalhoun 6 months agodid you guys actually shoot ben running by naked? -
Benjamin Korman 6 months agoYes. It was mid-January. Really Cold. Emma was holding the camera. I really wore the bunny ears, too. I had to do an in-camera edit on the nude stuff because my penis was in too many frames. -
