A brief montage of footage from Brazil, Venezuela and the United States that comprises some highlights of the forthcoming documentary "Owners of the Water." The film represents an innovative approach to indigenous filmmaking and collaborative ethnographic research.
In my roles as co-editor, co-cinematographer and narrative consultant, I had the opportunity to assist the three directors of the film in shaping a cohesive story out of over 30 hours of footage shot during several different excursions.
The film will soon be available to the general public via our distributor, Documentary Education Resources.
