All the Way, a play by Robert Schenkkan, about the first year of Lindon B. Johnson's presidency and his heroic work on the Civil Rights Act of 1964, opens today (March 6) on Broadway, at the Neil Simon Theater. AMC's Breaking Bad's star Bryan Cranston, who appears as LBJ, says, after months of rehearsal and previews, he still does not have a complete handle on the complex character of America's 36th President. New York critics praised the 3-hour production for its attention to details smaller than Civil Rights Act in Johnson's life, such as his delicate relation with his wife.
