Prevent Child Abuse NC is partnering with the Nurse-Family Partnership to provide an Advocacy Training across North Carolina.

This training will prepare you for advocating for children and families in your communities, as well as in the public policy-making arena. In this fun, interactive and multi-media training, you will learn about the current political landscape in North Carolina and how you can best position yourself to advance an agenda that supports children and families.

You will also learn:

· How to be proactive in building relationships;
· How to frame issues in a way that legislators understand and embrace; and
· How to inform and educate legislators about your issue of interest in a way that does not jeopardize your organization’s tax-exempt status.

We invite you to forward this invitation to partners who you believe could benefit from this training. We are all working toward similar goals for families, children and our community. While there will be some specific NFP messaging to help us prepare for Nurse-Family Partnership Advocacy Day in Raleigh on May 20th, this training will be focused on overall advocacy and engagement for a sustainable future for all of our programs.

Please join us as we focus on growing our skills and collaborating together as we move toward a healthier, more thriving future for our community!

Space is limited and attendees will be accepted on a first-come basis. Please RSVP as soon as possible to secure your spot.
