VOY-A BLIND FOOTBALL MATCH

The Sports Union for the Blinds «PIRSOS» placed in Thessaloniki has a football team of 10 players. They train twice a week for a final game.

The documentary observes these players and follows them through the game and in the changing room. Through this time we meet different characters and their relationships in a humourous and caring style.

In this football match the players follow a ball that they hear instead of see. The goalkeepers are the only ones with sight and they guide the players in the field. When the players are near the ball or each other, they are obligated to say the word «VOY». This word guides them in the field and prevents accidents between them.

The players, wearing «HELLAS» t-shirts, leave their worries away and focus on a game that they can’t see.
