Having just bought the 1D C I thought I'd take it out to the local park for a few image tests. If you're reading this, then you probably already know the specs of the camera and it's strengths and weaknesses.

I absolutely love the image myself. Here I've used the native Canon Log Gamma 4K clip in Premiere Pro CC and added a Kodak film emulation using Film Convert (filmconvert.com). I also did a really quick grade with the basic colour tools in PPro CC to show you how flexible the Log C file is. I exported as a ProRes in 1080. Plenty of detail and colour info in there. The zoomed crop is let down a bit by the wide 35mm lens and would be much sharper on a 50mm prime for example. It's certainly not the sensor that makes it a bit soft.

I hope you found this short test useful. I plan to upload a few more including a skin tone and slow motion test. I'm not super technical in my tests, I just like to show you what real stuff looks like from this strange beast!
