Sound edit #2

So it’s the same clip as before, but now I wanted to take it to a whole new level, this time we aren’t focusing on the sounds of spinning. Now we are focusing on the endurance of skaters, their failures, and successes. How does a skater spin, and what it is like to be a successful skater: the cheers from the fans, the anticipation and excitement at the Olympics, and finally receiving those scores. Figure skaters are athletes that work just as hard as any athlete and when they accomplish a personal best, they feel and so does the crowd. I want my audience to get the full experience of being at the Olympics, and being in the mind of a skater, at the peak of their career. The message is work hard, and keep on spinning!!!! So the sounds I took for this one were from Olympic skaters Patrick Chan’s Interview (Canadian skate team), from Yuna Kim’s Gold medal performance in Vancouver, some clips from a video that teaches you how to spin on ice, and I incorporated various cheering’s from the crowd. I tried to put together the sound in a meaningful way that tells the journey of the skater to success.
