UK-based fashion design duo Basso & Brooke took part in one of a series of residency exchanges organised by the British Council's Architecture, Design, Fashion team. In October 2009 the pair spent ten days on a research tour of Tashkent and Samarkand in Uzbekistan, which coincided with Uzbek Fashion Week where they attended a number of catwalk shows and gave several interviews.
