This is the beginning of the story of Dia DiCristino and her complicated CSF Disorder of the brain. It takes place from November 2002 to November 2003, when she underwent her first 25 surgeries for her , Hydrocephalus and Bacterial Meningitis. Between surgeries, Dia was living in her college dormitory, so at times you will see her look bewildered and baffled, as there was a lot happening behind the .

"I am well aware this film was recorded at a time where I looked my worst, I felt my worst and lived my worst. But I thought maybe someone who is just now going through a similar situation could get something from it, so I'm putting it out there. Even though it exposes me at my very worst hour, I don't think it should be kept private anymore."
