The NYC Commission on Human Right produced, in collaboration with NYC Media, a series of short films on New Yorkers who played a prominent role in the National Civil Rights struggle. The series, titled Fighting for Justice, includes a short featuring Elsie Richardson. As a community organizer and activist in Bedford-Stuyvesant, she led Senator Robert F. Kennedy on a local tour in 1966 leading to foundation of Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation as the nation's first Community Development Corporation.
