A talk given at the American Bible Society in March 2007:

On the road to Emmaus, the resurrected Jesus instructed His disciples how to read the Bible not only as a series of isolated stories, but as a overarching single narrative--one that is all about Jesus. Tim Keller shows how reading the Bible as a single story changes our view of mission, changes how we see cities in God's mission, helps us to see the role of deed ministry in the light of the restoration of all things, and shows us our utter and complete reliance upon the grace of God.
