Each year the Leukemia Foundation raises awareness and money by doing the Worlds Greatest Shave.
This involves people to volunteer to have their head shaved or coloured in the aid to raise funds for the foundation. This year I decided to participate and on the 14th March 2014 had my locks clipped off.
Blood cancer research is expensive but vital.
The money raised helps fund important research into leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood disorders.
Every 46 minutes someone in Australia gets the news they have blood cancer.
The money also supports them during diagnosis, during their treatment and beyond.
All the Leukemia Foundation's services are provided free of charge.
