Jim and I left Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina on I-40 West and entered Tennessee on the mountainous road driving/riding through the Blue Ridge Mountains. We had decided to get off at Exit 451. That didn't work out very well because when we got off, there were no signs. There were only vehicles with water rafting equipment, a river, and people rafting down it. It would have been great if we'd been planning to go down the river. We turned around (not an easy thing to do), stopped at an intersection, and Jim talked to a man in one of the river rafting vehicles. We followed him back onto I-40 and got off at the Foothills Parkway exit.
