He was accomplished big-wave surfer died today at 6:30 p.m the Mavericks surf break here in CA while surfing waves up to 60 feet.

Part of the trip of painting it for me was that one day the people in the painting would see it and that it would add even more joy to their joyous Life experience. Beautiful to think that his family now will. And something tells me Sion might just have a little peep too... in between catching super spirit waves maybe :) One Love brother :)

A thruster is a traditional three fin set up on the surf board. And a Quad is a 4 fin set up. Allot of the surfers are using Quad (four fins) on the surfboards now days.
