7. 2010 Winter Olympics Torch Relay

Day 88 of this cross Canada tour of the Olympic Flame. Yours truly was runner No. 10 of 206 for Day 88.
Just outside of Osoyoos, B.C..
What an honour and privilege to be selected as a Torchbearer. I am NOT going to let this potential go to waste. I have four ( 4 ) school assemblies to attend - and am ensuring that everybody and anybody who wants to can hold and touch the Torch.
Ilana was the helmet cam operator. Awesome stuff for an 11 year old running beside her Dad in the moment of a lifetime.
Special thanks to Ilana & Gwyn - for being there. Special thanks to Pierre-Luc - our guide or handler. His energy and spark was incredible for the morning brief.
The 3 RCMP security runners - special thanks.

Honestly thinsmek - if you heard the dialogue you'd be pissing yourself laughing. I think I told our daughter 6 times to come get me at the Nk'Mip Cultural Centre after the run. I was that nervous.
For 7:20 am on a Monday morning - the two sponsor caravans would make you think it was Rio on a Saturday night !
