This is my first "movie making" attempt. If you watch it at full screen it shows it at the low res size it was saved at, and it looks better than the first enlarged version. It's some footage of a backpacking trip in the Wallowa Mountains of Eastern Oregon. We left the Wallowa Lake Trailhead and hiked up to Ice Lake and camped. The next day we climbed The Matterhorn, and then over the traverse between Matterhorn and Mt. Sacajawea (the Dragon's head and back). We then "scree skied" off the face of Sacajawea into the Northwest basin that hangs over Hurricane Creek to camp. Then down off the mountain and out Hurricane Creek the next day. In the final shot I fall and knock the focus out on my cheap little dvr camera, so that's where the movie ends! Sorry about the camera shake. It was shot on a $75 crappy hand-held dvr.
Doing this sort of thing is one of the simple pleasures in life that keep my soul alive. It's free, and it makes me feel so blessed and happy to be alive. The moments I spend in places like this shape my heart and soul for life. They mold me to the Universe.
