During the last weekend of October, more than 10,000 visitors experienced the 5th edition of Designers' Open | The Festival for Design Leipzig. 150 national and international designers presented their latest work in the fields of interior design, fashion design, industrial design and communication design at the 5000 square meter floor area of the centrally located Merkurhaus – a unique convenient store building. A vast programme with lectures, off-site event locations (DO/Spots), and parties in the evenings complemented the fair and attracted another 2 000 visitors.
