"Baltimore's West Side Story" is a short documentary on the efforts to preserve Baltimore's historic West Side produced for Baltimore Heritage and Preservation Maryland. In 1999, the National Trust for Historic Preservation identified the West Side as one of America's 11 Most Endangered Historic Places and much of historic Lexington Street remains threatened by the proposed "Superblock" development. The continued efforts to find a preservation solution for the West Side is supported by Baltimore Heritage, Preservation Maryland, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and WestSide Renaissance, Inc.
