About 10 days ago, Lisa and I set out to conquer our wedding registry. She was very patient with me, as I had a lot to learn about pots, pans, and knives. Our plan was to start at William-Sonoma, and then hit Crate & Barrel, or Macy's or Bloomingdales or something afterwards. We were exhausted by the time we were done with W-S, so we just agreed to try again on another weekend soon.

I had expected it to be the most emasculating thing I'd ever done, but it wasn't actually that bad, and working the little lazer gun they give you is kinda fun.
