The Wild Rivers Land Trust is embarking on a campaign to raise $296,000 to complete the purchase of a parcel of critical habitat in the Elk River watershed, located in Oregon's South Coast.

This project will permanently protect 216 acres and 1.5 miles of stream that are important to steelhead spawning and rearing, as well as coho salmon spawning. It also provides prime nesting habitat for the marbled murrelet.
