The PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Built Ford Tough series seemed like an out-of-the-ordinary thing to go see, so I decided I should check it out.
The riders are friggin' insane. It was pretty amazing to watch. Turns out that it's not very easy to stay on one of those bucking monsters.

It's the same reason people go to the drags. The hope that one of them will go up in a ball of flames.
I think the draw of the bull riding is to see if these guys can strap themselves to the back of a monster and hold on for "long enough" (current 8 seconds). Most of the riders we saw didn't stay on long enough.
