Kiki, I love what you said...wow:

"After I paint something, I don't want anything to do with it. It's therapy. Once it's done, it's done. You experienced all these feelings and you let these feelings out, then its time to move on...People like us,...like artists, Just don't stop. We keep doing it, and then it becomes apart of us."

  • Lisa, that is a good comment. But at the same time another comment does not make sense. He says he would like to use the internet to "cut out the middle man". Well my friend, the middle man is the main reason why you know about any artist today. The middle man wrote all the press, essays and history books. Have respect for the power of the gallery and museum. Artists need the gallery's. First of all, the artists works to create the artwork he can't also work to promote and distribute it. Unless your doing mass production art made with machines that requires none of your attention, only then can the artist successfully solely promote himself.

Flickering light bulp doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. Kiki meant that you don't have to rely on galleries alone to make things happen with your art. Go back to hanging art and being mad at the internet for cutting out un-needed snakes. it did good things for the music business, hopefully it can transcend to the art world.
