Former National Football League star Archie Manning was the featured speaker at Oklahoma Christian University’s 2009 Associates Dinner.

The dinner recognizes key supporters of the university. Past speakers have included Ken Blanchard, Ken Starr, Ambassador Paul Bremer, Michael Medved, Gene Stallings and others.

Manning, well known for his football accomplishments and those of his sons Peyton and Eli, had a celebrated 15-year career with the New Orleans Saints and the Houston Oilers. After an All-America and college Hall of Fame career at the University of Mississippi, he set numerous Saints passing records and played in two Pro Bowls.
