"It's such a fulfilling position and I truly love working here," Medha Chandorkar responded when asked about her job. Chandorkar, a junior in the College at Georgetown University, works at the EFL (English as a Foreign Language) lab at Georgetown. Chandorkar has worked in the lab, helping students from all over the world, "from Latin America to Japan to Saudi Arabia."

While many students at Georgetown seek jobs around campus to make an extra buck, Medha has a more personal reason for picking this job over the other options. Medha was actually born in India, and when she arrived in America and started kindergarten, she didn't speak a word of English. To her, this job is about helping these EFL students and trying to help them reach their career goals. To Chandorkar, this is more than a job; it's giving back.
