Mr. Mona Herbert is our guest this week. He works for Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung (DSW), the German Foundation for World Population in Uganda. On the occasion of his participation in the Brussels Development Briefing on population growth and its implications for developing and ACP countries, Mr. Mona Herbert explained to us the challenges faced by Uganda and the neighbouring countries with regard to population growth: overcrowded schools, lack of youth centres, the role of media to conscientize the population on the ground.
