A look at Shen Yun audience's reactions from New Zealand
5 months ago
Lets take a look at Shen Yun Chinese Spectacular's update on it's world tour. Right now the show is in New Zealand where it continues to dazzle audience members. Gina Shakespear has the report.
It's an exciting start to the weekend here in Auckland city, home to over a quarter of the country's population. I'm outside Aotea Square, the city's premier performing arts venue where people have just viewed the Shen Yun Chinese Spectacular show. Now this is a world class performance that is made up of acclaimed classical Chinese musicians and dancers. Lets hear more from the guests.
[Kiel Mc Naughton, New Zealand Actor]:
"I'd actually like to take a group of younger children along to see it, I've got a four year old and I think he'd be really into it because the telling of the stories is quite, you know it's quite educational."
[Kumi Asiata, Air Hostess]:
"Three letters: wow! It's just amazing, different, the flare and even the fans that go with it, all the accessories and just the make up and the head gear as well."
This year approximately 650,000 audience members across 4 continents will get to see the show.
From here they will travel to the tropical islands of Hawaii and then later onto Seattle, Vancouver and Kansas City where NTD will continue to bring you further coverage.
