Ira Glass Interview Setup

Jim Henderson was interviewed by Ira Glass for This American Life in December 2009. A month later it was Jim's turn to interview Ira. This is a one-minute timelapse of the setup for the three-camera shoot in Hotel Murano, Tacoma. Brian Boyle served as director, and Owen Kindig as Director of Photography. It was a great location with lots of views into the hotel atrium four floors below... but difficult to light because of the presence of concrete pillars and a beam right behind the subjects. We used Kindig's Joker HMI package, augmented by a small Kinoflo and other grip gear from Seattle Grip and Lighting.
