    I had read about these years ago, but I didn't hear much else about them. They are a bit ugly, but it would seem that the problem with the design would not just be one of style or comfort, but durability as well. I would think that most people would just need to set their level of correction once and then never have to adjust them again. Perhaps future versions could have a way to seal off the lenses after the right amount of oil has been added in.

    Actually, I have to buy a new pair every 1.5 years because of how fast my eyes are increasingly deteriorating. It gets really pricey. Having glasses that could change prescription would probably be pretty cool for folks who can't afford to buy a new pair every time their eyesight changes again.

    I remember when I first got glasses and I saw a billboard for the first time and thought "There were words on those things?" I remember hearing about this, glad it's actually being produced.
