First test with HV30.
Some frame rate issues, but figured them out for next time.

Some beautiful shots there for sure, but too many tilt-ups made it a bit monotonous at first (conscious edit decision?). The music added just the right ethereal touch.

I agree. Beautiful imagery, but almost all scenes in the beginning are vertical pans and that tires the eye. Still, very nice!

if you used a fade transition you could have acquired a nice flowing pan giving the feeling of spinning around and around.

Thank you. Yeah it was a conscious decision - I was testing the 'rubberband' method on a 30 dollar tripod so it did not have the same look I was going for. Music is from incompetech.

On a side note - I had originally planned on several more static shots. Then I saw a duck float by and followed it for the duration of my tape. Unfortunately, that footage is extremely underexposed.

Would you mind saying what your frame rate issues were? Being sure to mention what your settings are here.
    Great work.

Sure. To start off I shot in 24P with the hopes of removing pulldown. However, I do not have the room on my computer to do this right now - but I went ahead and edited it on a 24P workflow (that was me just being dumb). So basically you are seeing 60i footage exported at 24P. (At least that's what I think is happening) I believe just re-capturing the footage into a proper workflow will fix this.

Also, most of the footage was slowed down to about 75% - amplifying any of the quick stutters.

I used TV mode to lock in at 1/48 - f1.8

I like it! Gotta watch that focus on the dandelions when you were zooming out. I hope you weren't using AutoFocus! And I saw a comment that you shot it in 24P? That little thing shoots 24P?!
