The project explores the concept of muscle memory transfer as an alternative form of interactive cultural continuities. Proposing a new way of documenting body movement in time. Eternal Summer Storm attempts to recreate legendary Japanese dancer Tasumi Hijikata's Butoh dance choreography and experience in ‘A Summer Storm’ (1973) from archival footages.

    Hi all, the electric stimulation is done in MAX/MSP and the signal are actually sound wave transmitted via any audio mixer to amplified the signal to electro pads. It is trial and error process and audio programming. not very high tech.
